Chet Hendrickson
First Signatory of the Agile Manifesto & One of the Founding Father’s of Agile and XP
Chet Hendrickson has been involved with Agile Software Development since 1996, when as a member of Chrysler’s C3 project he helped develop Extreme Programming. In 2000, Ron Jeffries, Ann Anderson, and Chet wrote Extreme Programming Installed. It detailed XP’s core practices, how to do them, and how they work together to help teams be successful.
Chet is the first signatory to the Agile Manifesto.
Since 2002, Chet has been an independent consultant, coach, and trainer. In 2009, he was asked by the Scrum Alliance to help develop the Certified Scrum Developer program. Chet and Ron Jeffries taught the first CSD course and continue to offer them in the United States and Europe. He has been a Certified Scrum Trainer since 2009.
Ron and Chet were the curators of the Scrum Alliance’s Agile Atlas website and in that function created the Alliance’s official Scrum description, Core Scrum.
Chet and Ron Jeffries often work together and are popular conference speakers, bringing an interesting mix of humor and deep knowledge, and the odd cat picture. The are a fixture at the Agile Alliance’s annual conference, Agile 20xx, as presenters in the Stalwarts track.

Daro Mott
Daro Mott has lectured at the University of Louisville, the University of Indiana Southeast, the University of Phoenix and ATA College. He currently teaches in the MBA program at the University of Louisville. Mr. Mott holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University and two graduate degrees from the University of Louisville.
Daro Mott has led an innovation team, a team of internal consultants and currently has a leadership role within an Enterprise Project Management Office. He is currently the Vice President of Process Improvement and Execution at Farm Credit Mid-America, a company which manages $28 Billion in loans. He reports to the Senior Vice President of Operational Process Excellence.

Damon Poole
He created Eliassen’s Agile Transformation approach and the training content across all aspects of Agile, and led the effort to provide opportunities for the coaches to advance in their coaching journey. This background gave Damon the opportunity to learn from hundreds of Agile Coaches in an enormous variety of client environments and from the wider international Agile community.
Damon is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach, International Coach Academy Certified Professional Coach, and is an ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching.

Rick Mook
Rick Mook is Senior Director of Agile Project Management at Genscape. His team’s mission is to help the company deliver maximum value in minimum time.
Before joining Genscape he was a Web Developer, Healthcare IT Consultant, and a Musicologist. In addition to getting things done well, Rick loves bicycles, music, good food, and bad jokes.

Jeff Jarecki
Jeff Jarecki has over 15 years of experience in information systems and compliance within a variety of industries. This experience includes exposure to HIPAA, PCI and SOX regulatory environments and to organizations which range from small closely held private companies to large national public corporations.
Jeff has worked as an Information Security Analyst, Software Engineer and Information Technology Consultant. His combined knowledge in Information Security, Software Engineering and Manual Process Automation make him an asset to any organization.
Jeff is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor and has recently passed his Certified Information Security Manager certification examination. He remains active in the Information Security and Compliance community, keeping him up-to-date on current trends and technology.
Jeff has taught our CISSP for over 5 years helping countless people pass their exams on their first try.

Steve Matthews
Fourteen years ago, Steve’s path migrated to IT Service Management consulting and training in both private and public-sector organizations utilizing the ITIL® best practices framework and the ISO/IEC 20000 Standard for IT Service Management. He has the honor of being a committee member for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), serving as a representative for the U.S. on the Standards Committee for ISO/IEC 20000. Steve also is a Certified HDI® Auditor and a member of the HDI® Certification Standards Committee, which is responsible for the development and maintenance of HDI® standards used worldwide.
Steve holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Louisville and is also a certified ITIL® 4 Managing Professional. Steve also has the honor of being a co-editor of international standard, “ISO/IEC 20000-2: Guidance on the Application of Service Management Systems”.

Ashley Albright
Ashley is a cybersecurity training and awareness expert. Before working in security, she spent 10 years in marketing and advertising. She uses that experience to create unique and engaging content that changes user behavior. She lives in Bend, Oregon with her dog Pfeiffer and enjoys skiing, biking, and outdoor.

Jeremy is Principal Security Architect for a Fortune 100 company where he built the application security, bug bounty and penetration testing programs. Jeremy is also the owner of Ellipsis
Information Security and teaches courses for SANS Institute and KEP Training
As a Director of Education for the Kentucky ISSA chapter, Jeremy presents on various
information security topics along with operating the “webpwnized” YouTube video channel.
Additionally, Jeremy develops the open-source OWASP Mutillidae II training environment.
Jeremy has a Bachelors in Computer Science from Indiana University, a Graduate Certificate in
Cybersecurity and Masters in Computer Science from the University of Louisville and is a GIACcertified Web Application, Mobile and Network Security Penetration Tester.

Shena Newman
Shenà Newman is a Sr. Scrum Master, where she focuses on Agile Adoption and education on Agility. Her expertise is in acquiring Leadership buy-in, implementing Scrum, and scaling Scrum across Infrastructure Cloud Architecture teams. Shenà’s professional training, continuous studies, and direct experience have provided her with the tools to be a servant leader, to turn ideas into actions and measurable business solutions. Her success is a direct correlation in her ability to communicate effectively while understanding enterprise complexities and removing the team’s impediments. She aspires to be a certified Agile Coach and is passionate about volunteerism and positively impacting the communities in which she resides.

Bryan Beecham is an Agile coach, trainer, developer and international speaker with over 20 years of comprehensive IT experience. His specialties include coaching teams, providing effective training, and facilitating Agile adoption. He is passionate about improving everyone’s ability to design and produce excellent software. He is equally proficient in discussing corporate vision with executives, advising companies on Agile transformation, and teaching new techniques and practices to developers.
Bryan is passionate about collaboration, extreme programming, discovering creative solutions and helping teams deliver value to their customers. His training style attracts active audience participation and unlocks creativity and learning with everyone, regardless of their technical background.
